Copa America Tournament

Copa America Tournament

August 19 2026

The Copa America Tournament was held in Panama, featuring both kata and kumite divisions.

The participants demonstrated the spirit of Kyokushin Karate: refining their technique, spirit, and kumite skills while building strong character. A dan grading was also held, through which everyone shared in the true essence of Kyokushin Karate — polishing not only one’s technique and strength, but also one’s character and way of life.

At the opening ceremony, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Shihan Anjali Parwani of Panama. At the meeting held that evening, Brazil was chosen as the host country for the next tournament, which will take place in two years.
